Feasibility of refurbishment to Class A Commercial Space of a mixed use building in the heart of London.

EEDN were involved as Project Managers and Design Lead for this refurbishment in Central London.

The Works

Redecorate externally – The building is located excellently in Soho overlooking Golden Square, with strong footfall and excellent amenities surrounding the building.
Enhance entrance way – works to the entrance hall which will also include adding contemporary art for a strong emphasis on this being finished to a high quality.
End of journey facilities on LG (including showers), branding the cycle area and high quality shower facilities.
Change of use of 4th and 5th to Office + CAT A fit-out of office space.

The location

8 Golden Square, Soho is positioned in an excellent location on the best square in Soho. Over recent years the immediate area has benefitted from a transformation with an abundance of amenities nearby including fashionable restaurants, coffee shops and late-night cafes. This makes it an exciting and vibrant offering that is only further being enhanced by the introduction of the Elizabeth Line to the local area and we can therefore see the building appealing to a wide spectrum of occupiers – particularly those in the technology, creative & media sectors.
